Never Finished
David Goggins
There is no finish line. The day I think I've arrived is the day I start sliding.

Lessons learned
01
Greatness is a moving target.
Every level I reach reveals a higher one. Goggins treats that as the point, not the problem, and it changed how I look at my own plateaus.
02
The one-second decision.
Quitting happens in a single second. So does staying. I only have to win that one second, then the next.
03
Audit your excuses.
He writes down every reason he wants to stop and reads them back. Most of mine look ridiculous on paper, which is the point.
04
Belief has to be earned.
Confidence I didn't pay for in work is just noise. The reps come first, then the belief shows up on its own.
05
Stay a student.
The second book is harder on him than the first. He's still finding weaknesses, which means I have no excuse to stop looking for mine.
Who should read it
People who read Can't Hurt Me, got fired up, and then drifted. This one is about what happens after the first push wears off.
